Generate is teaming up with Blueprint and Hybridity Media for the 5th annual SEASONS Festival, which runs from April 1st to April 5th and will offer 30+ performances, featuring top talent at multiple venues across Vancouver, including Pacific Coliseum, Celebrities, Fortune Sound Club & more.
Showcasing the city as a global destination for cultural events, this year’s festival broadens its core focus on electronic music to include interactive technology and art. To this end, Blueprint reached out to Generate, a locally based audio-visual creative app for mobile devices. With support from long time Blueprint partner Heineken, the two companies have planned interactive multimedia activations at select events to showcase the bridge between art and technology. In the lead-up to the 5 day festival, Seasons’ digital marketing team will also be utilizing Generate to create content through its social media channels and encouraging fans and followers through interactive campaigns and contests.
At key events, including the 2 day, all ages marquee event at Pacific Coliseum, attendees will participate in live audiovisual experiences. Using the Generate app, Seasons attendees can curate their own unique visuals, with audio-reactive imagery and videos projected on a live Generate content wall, allowing them to document their Seasons experiences in unique ways and share them with fellow festival goers. Users will also be able to view their Generate content aggregated on special Seasons website feeds for later viewing and sharing. Blueprint’s festivals are known in part for record-setting content and engagement, and this will add a huge impact to festival-goers experiences.
